Chantalle Baum is an associate attorney with Cardinale Fayard | Medical Defense Law Group. Chantalle practices general civil litigation including medical malpractice defense and the representation of other professionals in federal and state courts in California.
Chantalle began her legal career as an associate attorney for two boutique law firms in Roseville. She previously practiced general civil litigation including business and insurance litigation, professional liability, legal ethics counseling, and appellate advocacy. She obtained a published opinion in her client’s favor in McIsaac v. Foremost Insurance Company Grand Rapids, Michigan (2021) 64 Cal.App.5th 418.
Chantalle earned her law degree from UC Law San Francisco (formerly known as UC Hastings). At UC Law San Francisco, Chantalle was the Executive Acquisitions Editor on the UC Law San Francisco Women’s Law Journal and a Staff Editor and Symposium Editor on the UC Law San Francisco Race and Poverty Law Journal.
Prior to attending law school, Chantalle obtained a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Long Beach. She graduated magna cum laude with a major in political science with an emphasis in pre-law and a minor in criminal justice.
Chantalle is an active member of the State Bar of California. Outside of work, Chantalle enjoys exploring Sacramento’s coffee shops and restaurants and going on bike rides along the American River with her husband and son.
