Keri Heaton graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Journalism in 2011 from California State University, Sacramento and earned a paralegal certificate from UC Davis in 2013. Since entering the legal field, Keri has performed a variety of administrative, secretarial, and paralegal tasks. For the past seven years, Keri’s career has focused on assisting attorneys in complex medical malpractice defense cases for doctors, dentists, nurses, and large medical providers including Kaiser Permanente and Sutter Health. Prior to joining Cardinale Fayard | Medical Defense Law Group, Keri worked for a boutique, female-owned employment law firm in Sacramento and a medium-sized insurance defense firm with offices in Sacramento, Reno, and Las Vegas. Keri enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two sons.
